10th edition of the EcoTrail de Paris®: Here are the first results.
This Saturday March 18th 2017 was the trail day of the EcoTrail de Paris®. Today, 8 644 participants gathered for various trail running events, ranging from 18km to 80km.
The 80km trail stands out in the event as the main race of this sporting and eco-responsible weekend. 2 084 people registered for the occasion. At 12:15 PM, runners left from Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (78). All along the course, they followed the trails and tracks of the Ile-de-France region, discovering major sites of the area.
For men, after 05 hours 48 minutes and 30 seconds of running, Emmanuel Gault (bib #03) claimed the first place ahead of Nicolas Duhail (bib #01 - 05’56’01) and Yann Nourry (bib #07 - 06’22’10), who completes the podium.
For women, after 06 hours 28 minutes and 22 seconds of running, Jasmin Nunige (bib #07) claimed the first place ahead of Sylvaine Cussot (bib #2296 - 07’04’41) and Carmen Maria Perez Serrano (bib #98 - 07’31’29), who completes the podium.
For the 45km trail, the second longest race of the day, 1 498 participants had registered. They left from the heart of the Palace of Versailles estate (78).

For the 30km trail, leaving from Meudon (92), 2 815 participants started the race on the main alley of the Château de Meudon at 10:00 AM.

The 18km trail also left from Meudon, at 8:30 AM, starting on the terrace of the Observatory, with 2 247 starters.
